S/I Legal Consultancy is an Iraqi legal practice with a global reach. Comprised of both western and local certified lawyers, S/I provides local and international institutions with complete business law service packages.
From our head office in Slemani, S/I provides the highest possible standard of legal services for our clients and is able to bridge international legal, corporate and banking requirements with the nascent Kurdish and Iraqi standards, laws and regulations.
Our clients range from multinational corporations to emerging local companies quickly becoming world players. They include some of the biggest companies in Iraq as well as companies from East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Azad Ismael
Azad Ismael has over 20 years of experience in the region and has advised both local and international companies as well as provided advice to governments and public service institutions. Azad focuses his practice on energy and construction projects in the Kurdish region. From his many years of operating his own legal practice, he has a considerable list of existing clients.
Agri M Sabir
Agri M Sabir received his law degree from Linköping University in Sweden and has previously advised on oil and infrastructure projects each worth over USD 1 billion. He was previously head legal in-house counsel for the Qaiwan Group of Companies, one of the largest Kurdish corporations. He has international experience in corporate law and finance, having previously worked in London and Dubai.
Additionally, we have a staff of young, motivated, locally trained lawyers.
